If I’ve learned one thing about most fandoms, it’s that we cannot handle a waiting period, we all tend to get a little brainrotted. Now most “normies” would expect that once a waiting period for new content is over, we’d stop joking around and be normal for once. However, the opposite usually happens as we get even more brainrotted! Can’t expect to instantly solve our problem can we? And these two definitely are examples of this, being the true main characters of their shows… apparently.
But which John deserves the name John! Let’s see which John will John the other John before John John’s the John’s out of John! Let’s answer…

Japan, December 7th 1989, Satoru Gojo was born, and the world changed. You see, in JJK there exists Sorcerers and Curses! Curses are monsters that are born from negative human emotion and Sorcerers are the protectors that dedicate their lives to protecting the innocents. When Gojo was born, the power balance shifted as he was so strong that Curses had to become stronger so the power balance would stay the same. That’s how it is, right? Well little did Gojo’s cocky head know, he wasn’t actually the one to shift the power balance! It was actually the one known as John Kaisen! Or at least that’s what the JJK fandom says, they wouldn’t lie right?
Now some of you uncultured people might not know this legendary Sorcerer so I’ll skip the backstory talk since most of you don’t read this part of the Blogs. All you need to know is that John Kaisen is an incredibly powerful Sorcerer, and like all Sorcerer’s he has been trained in the arts of Cursed Energy in order to fight Cursed Spirits. John Kaisen was so strong that we saw him throwing hands with a Cursed Spirit. While that may be all… he was going kinda crazy ngl.

When you think of the strongest, what do you think? Chances are you think of Son Goku! While it’s not hard to blame people, the fact is that Goku isn’t even the strongest in his own series! There’s several characters who match him like Vegeta, Broly, and Gohan, and several others who surpass him such as Frieza, Beerus, Whis, The Grand Priest, and Zeno. However, do you know who’s the strongest? While some would say The Grand Priest or Zeno, it is actually a recently discovered character! His name is John Dragonball! Or at least that’s what the Dragonball fandom says, they wouldn’t lie right?
Not much is known about this guy but what we do know is that he likes to keep it 1000! We also know he’s insanely strong, being able to defeat several virtual people and can even copy techniques from the greatest warriors on planet earth! His skills were so great that he was recruited by a mysterious figure? That’s it so far but considering Toriyama had a hand in the game, I’m sure his story will be peak!

CURSED ENERGY
Cursed Energy is a flow of energy that exists in every Sorcerer and Curse and is the spiritual manifestation of intense emotion. When mastered, a Sorcerer can do incredible things, all of which John should be capable of.
Non Physical Interaction: Sorcerers are able to physically interact with Curses which can become intangible.
Purification: Cursed Energy is capable of destroying Curses and they embody negative emotion.
Invisibility: Regular people cannot perceive Cursed Energy.
Mind Manipulation: Exposure to enough Cursed Energy can wear down the mind.
Sealing: Some of the most powerful Sorcerers can seal evil spirits.
Invulnerability Negation: Cursed Energy are able to damage Curses who are specifically made to be invulnerable to any type of physical damage.
Enhanced Senses: People with Cursed Energy are able to perceive things that would normally be invisible to them such as Curses.
Pain Manipulation: Injuries from Cursed Energy can eventually result in long term damages and illnesses to the body.
Limited Resurrection: While this doesn’t avoid death, those enabled with Cursed Energy can reincarnate as vengeful spirits.
DIVERGENT FIST
We saw John Kaisen using this, at least I think he’s using it? Whatever, John Kaisen should be able to do it since he’s based. The Divergent Fist is a technique where the user's speed beats out their Cursed Energy, causing the Cursed Energy to hit the opponent afterwards creating a second consecutive hit!

John showed off this technique in his training, with this he can instantly “teleport” wherever he wants as long as there is traceable Ki. Speaking of which…
KI MANIPULATION
Like most relevant characters in Dragonball, John is able to manipulate the natural life energy called Ki. Like John with his natural energy, John should be capable of what Ki is capable of on a general basis…
Accelerated Development: By training, characters can increase their capabilities and power of their Ki.
Empowerment + Healing: John could use some of his Ki to power up and heal large wounds like crushed organs.
Telepathy: High level Ki users can read each other's mind and project images into other people.
Limited Attack Nullification: Ki users can suppress and nullify weaker attacks.
Non Physical Interaction: Ki can hurt ghosts and intangible Ki attacks.
Explosion Manipulation: Ki blasts can instantly explode like a grenade if needed.
Forcefield Creation: Ki can be used to create forcefields.
Fire Manipulation: Ki can generate fire.
Electricity Manipulation: Ki’s auras have an electromagnetic field.
Dimensional Travel/Spatial Manipulation: Strong enough Ki users can create holes in space and time.
Ki Sense: Ki users can sense each other's Ki and other life energies.
Energy Blasts: Probably what Ki is most famous for, we saw John being able to shoot an energy blast that disintegrated a guy.
COPY ABILITY?
We’ve seen that John Dragonball can copy the physiology from previous Dragonball characters as seen when he copied Goku’s Super Saiyan transformation. Unfortunately we haven’t seen the extent to how he can copy so we can’t give him Cell’s Regeneration or Buu’s Transmutation. Maybe when Project 1000 comes out… or at least gets more than a trailer and several memes.
KEEPING IT 1000
John Dragonball is always keeping it 1000, this makes sure that his opponents know he’s goated! Could it be useful? Duh, I don’t have to explain why since you all know why of course.

John Kaisen should obviously be an incredibly skilled fighter! Being a trained Sorcerer means he has spent a good amount of his life preparing to fight curses and training with other skilled fighters, Sorcerers are generally more skilled than even master martial artists and athletes.
As for on-screen feast… he was going pretty crazy in his fight, let's be honest. He showed off some excellent boxing skills and knowledge on Cursed Energy. So he’d unironically be more skilled than half the characters in the WWW Blogs series so far… let that sink in.
JOHN DRAGONBALL
Now the lack of a background does limit John Dragonball but we do know he knows how to work a VR training room and can turn Super Saiyan meaning he’s trained to use it before (or he learned Cabba’s back tingle thing).
But what we do know about John 100% is that he is an excellent fighter. We saw that John Dragonball is a great martial artist and has used the moves of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Gogeta

Heat Resistance: Other Sorcerers are able to survive extreme heat from Curses like Jogo.

Heat Resistance: Considering Ki can be hot enough to create fire, it’s remarkable John’s hand doesn’t burn off when creating a Ki Blast.
Limited Time Stop Resistance: Dragonball characters can power through a Time Stop as long as they’re stronger.
Limited Existence Erasure: Basically the same as Time Stop.

WHERE DOES BRO SCALE?
So the meat and potatoes of John Kaisen in terms of his scaling, he only has one scene where he fights a random Curse, so how strong is that Curse?
To do that we have to look at the grading system, Special, 1, 2, 3, and 4! Special being the most powerful and 4 being the weakest. The problem is that it isn’t really stated what level this Curse was so we have to figure it out ourselves. Now we can immediately take out the Special Grade since that is Mahito tier’d, as funny as it would be to scale John Kaisen to the top tiers of the verse, without evidence we can’t unironically put him that high. It also likely can’t be a Grade 1 Curse since they usually have shown human intelligence which we really can’t tell with this random non speaking Curse. Thankfully, it isn’t likely that the Curse is Grade 4 since a regular human could likely defeat Curses on that tier which John Kaisen clearly is above.
So, is it Grade 2 or 3? You can make an argument for either, but considering the Curse had some martial arts knowledge and was throwing hands pretty well, it will be considered Grade 2 for the most generous end.
Thus, we can scale John Kaisen to all the feats a Grade 2 Curse could likely scale in some form as seen in the Scaling section.

THOSE DAMN POWER LEVELS?!
John Dragonball hasn’t shown his true might yet so we can only speculate his bare minimum by looking at something Dragonball avoided but became a weird Youtube meta, Power Levels!
We can safely say that John Dragonball at the absolute lowest end is at least 1 since most regular humans have a higher Power Level! The highest we can safely say at the moment is that he should have a Power Level of somewhere around 10, basically around early Og Dragonball Goku level. This would allow him to scale to the lower tier feats but what about the higher tier ones. Luckily for John, he is a Super Saiyan!
Super Saiyan has a confirmed 50x boost in Power Levels so this would make John’s bare minimum Power Level 500! Well above some of the higher tiers of Og Dragonball such as Master Roshi and Demon King Piccolo!
Now it is fair to note that Toriyama did confirm that he didn’t think Kid Goku turned Super Saiyan was because he didn’t have the required power, but not only was that a post written reasoning for a concept he had no idea about at the time, and not only are there other possible explanations, but we can’t say for certain what the required Power Level is so a Power Level of 500 is the safest bet for now.
OTHER TRANSFORMATIONS?
So since John Dragonball transformed into a Super Saiyan, that means he could turn into other forms right? Possibly, but there is a problem. He doesn’t know how to at the moment, or at least that’s what’s most likely. John has the genetics more than likely to turn into more transformations, but without proof on knowing how to, he’ll be stuck with just Super Saiyan. Sorry John Dragonball fans…

VERDICT
Alright you know what! I need to do something interesting in this Blog so I’ll introduce some unique Blog categories for now on instead of the same old ones, that’ll spice things up!
JAW DROPPING SKILL
When it comes to who’s the better fighter, things get quite vague as both have shown good skills. John Dragonball can copy the moves of incredibly skilled warriors while John Kaisen’s boxing skills are no joke. So what breaks up the skill debate?
While both are good fighters, given John Kaisen’s background, we can say he’s more likely to have superior training and experience due to being a Sorcerer while we have no idea what John Dragonball is besides being a Capsule Corp employee of some sorts, maybe.
Skill is roughly even, but John Kaisen’s better training and experience would likely tip the scales. JOHN KAISEN takes JAW DROPPING SKILL!
ON-SCREEN FEATS
Alright let’s look at the huge list of things both of these guys have done on their own!

Yeah both don’t have a whole lot… of anything honestly. ON SCREEN FEATS is a DRAW!
HAX
Both John and John haven’t shown a lot of abilities aside from their verses most common power source so let’s compare the two. Which would be better, Cursed Energy or Ki?
Cursed Energy does have the advantage of being able to kill its target, however it does happen over time. While Cursed Energy can wear down people's minds and create injuries that will result in death, this process can take multiple hours, days, to even years to happen.
Meanwhile Ki has more useful uses for the heat of battle. Allowing its user to read minds, nullify weaker attacks, create forcefields, create fire and electricity, and heal the user if they so wish. While Ki does have a limited supply, so does Cursed Energy. Also, Ki Sense completely counters the Cursed Energy’s invisibility so that shuts down the most useful thing Cursed Energy could possibly be used for here.
Also comparing the Divergent Fist to a Ki Blast makes things clear. While the double hit of the Divergent Fist could surprise John Dragonball and be useful, a Ki Blast is much more spammable and could hit John Kaisen from a long distance. It also has far more AOE than a simple punch.
Finally, while John Kaisen can jump well, basically teleporting is far more useful than jumping. JOHN DRAGONBALL takes HAX!
NONSENSICAL SCALING
Let’s finish things off with going back to stats! While both John’s are… lacking in any really impressive feats to say the least, scaling might fix this issue.
With scaling, John Kaisen should be able to scale to Grade 2 Curses which can scale to a first year Toge who can create a crater that would be worth 87 Tons of TNT! John Dragonball on the other hand could scale to people with a power level of around 10 which could likely downscale feats from Goku and Tao. Goku could survive a plane crash worth 10 tons of TNT and you could argue a 10x downscale from Tao’s 9.63 Kiloton toss since Tao was on the level of the Great Ape which could get John to 963 Tons of TNT! Using either end wouldn’t be too far removed from John Kaisen, either a bit weaker or a bit stronger. This makes things pretty close and debatable…
UNTIL you remember Super Saiyan exists with its 50x Power Level boost which would allow John Dragonball to scale to Roshi’s Kamehameha which BLEW UP THE MOON! You might argue this to be too much in high scale in comparison, but there is a later saga feat worth 408 Kilotons that would far exceed John Kaisen and it is something John Dragonball could scale to. And if you used the Moon feat, well yeah it’s wraps.
Also let’s not mention the big speed difference lol, John Kaisen’s already dead. JOHN DRAGONBALL takes NONSENSICAL SCALING!

So what did we learn today? That analyzing a character with 2 and a half seconds is probably a bad idea and not worth doing a Blog over? Well besides that it’s that Power Levels are bullshit! This could’ve been close but because of the fact that Super Saiyan increased the Power Level by 50x, it made this a stomp. I know if stats were equalized, John Dragonball would still likely win due to how many more uses Ki has in a fight than John Kaisen’s specific Cursed Energy, but still…
Maybe the friends we made along the way was the real John Kaisen vs John Dragoball… I think I said that wrong.
Well uh… I’m trying to think up a John pun, there’s no real good one. Uh… let’s see what Google says…
