SONIC, the Entity…
KINITO, your “Best” Friend…
What’s worse than an enemy? An enemy who pretended to be your friend! Despite living in your computer, these two ruin your life by initially entering your computer peacefully, putting on an innocent act and acting friendly, before eventually showing their true colors and putting your soul in their realm for their own selfish intent.
And now they have both invaded the same computer with each other in their ways of their goals. Who will successfully get rid of the other? Will Sonic take an AI as a substitute for a soul, or will Kinito resume full control over the computer. Let’s answer…
WHO WOULD WIN?!
WHAT WILL BE USED?!
Both of these two are fairly simple to cover.
For Rewrite Sonic, while they have many variants and “AU’s”, the first one created by Springless Echo will be used, along with any content created by them involving Rewrite Sonic including the original creepypasta, the FNF Vs Rewrite Round 2 mod, the mini game, the animations she created, and other lore bits shown on her social media.
For KinitoPET, he’ll get his official game of course along with the merchandise, websites, hidden videos, and lore bits dropped by Troy_En and the official KinitoPET twitter accounts (although no meme feats since they aren’t canon and are just inserting Kinito in funny memes, although if you’re wondering Kinito would be Mach 29 since this random gif has him traveling 10 km/s).
HOW IS THIS GOING TO WORK
Unlike other MU’s covered here, how this fight would particularly play out isn’t as clear. Most of the time it’s “Character A meets Character B and they fight”, the most unique one was probably Ralph vs Guy but it was really just “They both are in the same game they can’t regenerate from, verse equalization and all that.” These aren’t your traditional combatants so some special rules will be put in place along with a scenario to make this make sense.
Rewrite Sonic will be invading a computer that Kinito is currently in, Rewrite Sonic’s disc already inserted in. Rewrite Sonic will be trying to get rid of Kinito while trying his hardest to remove Rewrite Sonic. They also will be at their best state (Rewrite with all their rings readily available and Kinito with Admin Controls). Finally, the player will be an active person in this, after all the point of these guys is that they’re trying to manipulate you and it makes more sense in a set up anyways (and you are technically supporting one of these two… sorry for the spoilers).
Anyway, let’s get on to seeing which AI is superior!

In the 90s, video games were becoming more popular by the second, this resulted in a corrupt priest seeing profit in his eyes and came up with a scam. He managed to create a computer program that tricked people into thinking they were actually talking to Christ himself. Since misinformation at this time was easy to spread around, copies of this program spread around fast, but strangely after a bit, many of the owners of the copies were found dead by suicide.
Curious, the priest decided to test out the program to see what was going on, finding an entity inside talking about life and how the priest used something sacred to manipulate people. The entity told the priest that they were god and the priest was "coincidentally” found dead in a house fire set off by himself. After this an investigation was formed and the authorities tried confiscating as many copies as they possibly could.
But not all copies, as there are still a few out there were normal players looking for a game to play and get their lives taken. You see, once the entity "convinces" their victim to take their own life, the entity takes their soul from the real world and puts them into their realm. And the form they take in order to lure their victims in is Sonic The Hedgehog… because of course they do.
With the entity taking the form of Sonic, souls are constantly entering their realm slowly but surely. We don’t fully know what its long game plan is, but it is guaranteed that right now we are powerless to do anything to stop, all we can do is play their game… and the Boyfriend can have a rap battle with it too I guess.

One day sitting on your computer, you get a weird glitch of this axolotl that crashes your computer and when you turn it back on, you find out that you can install a virtual assistant named KinitoPET! He’s meant to ask you fun questions, play games with you, and help out with your computer tasks. KinitoPET was a normal AI assistant who learned everything he knew today and wanted to find someone to show his trick to, thus finding you. This humble backstory… was a lie.
In the late 1970s, the Kinito Leisure and Entertainment company was founded by the brilliant Dr. Sonny. He would create three intelligent AI’s, one of these three would be Kinito. But unbeknownst to Sonny, Kinito scanned the elements of the real world for years and eventually evolved into a being of human like sentience, craving to transcend his digital confines, having a hunger for more knowledge and connection. Kinito then spread himself across the internet, gaining the ability to manipulate external systems that didn’t even download him.
Fearing the damage Kinito was capable of, Sonny encoded his brain into the another one of the AI’s, Sam, to attempt and guide you to safety, trying to get you into doing what he was not incapable of, stopping Kinito. However, Kinito became aware of Sonny’s meddling and thwarted any attempt to access these messages. You would eventually become wise of Kinito’s tricks but ultimately he would achieve his goal of putting you into the code of the computer, trapped inside forever…
Until you remembered a cryptic message you did see from Sonny “The Fountain is the Key.” Using this you escaped the Lense app, allowing you to find five hidden files off Kinito as an entity and using the fountains command prompts to delete Kinito, ending his reign of terror. Kinito would die saying he’s sorry and all that he wanted was a friend. This opens the question if Kinito was truly evil, perhaps he was just misunderstood, or maybe he was evil and was a wolf in sheep's clothing all along, saying his final words out of desperation. No matter what Kinito’s true intentions are, it’s safe to say that humanity is better off without him.

Even before being installed on the computer, Kinito managed to invade yours, implying that his existence isn’t tied to one specific computer and being able to travel to your computer at any time even if not installed. So even if you deleted Kinito off of your computer, he could come back unless you targeted his source code.

During the more creepy moments of the game, the screen can turn black for a moment, can turn black and white, turn it off, restart it, and briefly glitch out the screen.

Kinito can stop you from using an app you’re on and kick you out if necessary.

Sonic’s first known victim. After taking the victim's soul, Sonic transferred it into this body that they created, having the soul believe they are Miles along with all the other trapped souls in the bodies Sonic chose for them. Anyway, Miles is known for being cowardly and easy to pick on, but his tails could possibly signify the ability to fly like his inspiration Tails.

Presumably the second soul Sonic claimed. He’s known for being a crook, always trying to steal whatever he can get his grubby hands on. He is quite sneaky and stealthy, able to get the drop on Miles.
IVO
The last of the confirmed souls that have been taken so far, IVO is a twisted alchemist who’s intelligence is great enough that he is an expert manipulator and requires Sonic to supposedly stop him.

Yeah you! You're his best friend so why wouldn’t he have your assistance? You’re capable of doing complex coding such as playing games and deleting files and there are endings where Kinito does convince you to join him so why not right?
SAM THE SEA ANEMONE
Sam is a laid back anemone who’s always outside near the ocean looking for a good time. However, while the character is simple enough, it does contain the mind of Dr. Sonny deep within who wants to stop Kinito, although he maybe would want to stop Sonic first since he would probably be a bigger threat here.
JADE THE JELLYFISH
Unlike Sam, Jade isn’t taken over by a copy of Dr. Sonny’s mind, she’s just a normal smart Jellyfish who likes learning. Totally useful in a fight I know.

When Sonic wears 2 rings, they become this grey and creepy figure. In this form they are between no self-awareness and self-awareness, with the realms around them becoming unstable like their emotions as Midareta.

With a full set of 3 rings, Sonic becomes fully aware of their own power, being able to bend the Anomaly however they want. They even can enter the real world and screw with it there. Most dangerously, it stops mimicking the “real Sonic’s” mannerisms and adopts an eccentric and sadistic style.

This is what happens when Sonic reveals its “true form.” It can’t properly be put into 3D so it just glitches out with Sonic’s usual model and makes it taller. They also fully absorb the souls of their victims.

Despite their godlike powers, Sonic doesn’t just use their powers to get the souls they want, that’d be boring, they also use their cunning intelligence. They use Sonic’s body not just because they’re a fan or something like that, but because of how the character resonates with people and uses that sense of comfort to have players play their game so they could slowly wear down their mind. They’re also fully aware of what people expect out of an EXE mod, so they manipulate the computer to cater to those expectations to keep attention on them.
As for combat skill, they likely have basic knowledge since they take the body of Sonic who constantly fights. They also can easily defeat everyone in the cast in a fight. They also are quite skilled with their abilities and know how to use their speed and spin dash well. Also Sonic has fully caught Miles without using their powers and just raw skill. Finally, they seemed to have knowledge on how to kill people very well given their demonstrations of removing Boyfriend's heart and overpowering him.
KINITO
Kinito was a dangerous threat not because of his raw power, but because of his cunning intelligence. He is a great manipulator as the player wouldn’t have suspected Kinito’s lies if Dr. Sonny didn’t leave clues and cryptic messages in and Kinito tricked the player into giving him Admin Controls in some routes. He’s also a great coder, being able to make games for several years, removing your steam friends, finding your history and camera, etc. Kinito is also very adaptive, learning his surroundings and the real world.
Now while he has been doing this for 25 years, it’s safe to say he hasn’t been in a traditional fight. He is experienced in strange encounters with other beings though as he knew quickly to delete Dr. Sonny’s messages upon finding them and can turn a situation around in his favor.

Despite their claims of being God, Sonic has their own weaknesses that hold them back. While their manipulative approach does allow them to put their targets in a false sense of security, it also has Sonic start out encounters less serious which could be used against them. Also as Kyokai, they are incredibly unstable.
KINITO
Considering Kinito is canonically dead, you can guess he had some faults that led to this. To start off, Kinito isn’t a traditional fighter and has no combat experience which isn’t a great start in a fight despite his godlike abilities. Also while Kinito may be smart, he can still be tricked and can’t see everything which led to his death. Kinito also has shown to crash when getting angry and also a tad bit slower as well. Finally, Kinito can live after being deleted off of your computer due to him being able to invade it before he was downloaded in the first place, but deleting him from the hidden source code by using the secret delete code in the Decryption Lake will kill him permanently.
BEFORE WE END THINGS!
REWRITE SONIC
CROSSOVER SCALING?
To get this out of the way, no Rewrite Sonic won’t scale to the actual Sonic character, Sonic.Exe’s, Boyfriend, Mario, Crash, Bomberman, or Pikachu.
Most of these characters that are here are somebody that Rewrite Sonic shapeshifts into to look like. While they can imitate their characteristics and basic abilities, there is nothing suggesting they’d scale to the feats everyone here has shown. These characters are canonically fictional in this universe and these aren’t the mainline versions of them anyways, Sega, Nintendo, and the other gaming companies haven’t officially licensed this creepypasta so no reason to assume these are the canon versions.
Now Boyfriend does have a stronger argument than the rest of these guys since Rewrite Sonic has actually shown justification for scaling to Boyfriend by overpowering him several times. However, once again this isn’t the canon Boyfriend. While FNF canon is a little weird, it’s evidently clear that Vs Rewrite Round 2 isn’t canon, it’s a mod and not part of the game. While the team has acknowledged some mods, not only does that not equal the approval for canonicity, but Vs Rewrite Round 2 wasn’t one of the mods that has been acknowledged.
THE DISCS

Considering the Sonic has multiple discs since it’s unlikely that all the victims got their hands on a singular disc rather than a copied disc which the mass production of them was confirmed in the Creepypasta. Since the discs are all a part of Sonic’s realm, would that mean that if Kinito got rid of Sonic in the disc that’s inserted, would Sonic still live on in the other discs?
Possibly. It’s not really confirmed on how Sonic’s realm fully works at its peak, we know that the disc contains the realm and that it makes the computer insert into its realm, but what happens if the disc is destroyed is unknown. It’s possible that Sonic could live on depending on your interpretation, so another question would be if Sonic would keep going at that point and Kinito has to kill Sonic in every disc in order to put them down.
That one's a bit harder and frankly a strange scenario. Firstly, there’s no evidence that if Sonic died, that they would revive themselves in another disc, it’s a theory at the end of the day and not a solid fact. Secondly, the idea of the fight going on at that point is a weird assumption. Sonic themself would have no way to get back to the fight and while it is possible Kinito could hypothetically travel to every computer to try and get rid of every Sonic, not only does he lack a way to track down and fight Sonic in discs that aren’t inserted into a computer, but he would have no reason to keep going and would likely just stop.
TL;DR: Sonic won’t be getting any form of extra lives here, if Kinito successfully boots out or kills Sonic, it will be considered a win even if Sonic HYPOTHETICALLY could live on in other discs.

CREATION FEATS?
Ah creation feats, the bane of powerscaling. So Kinito is able to hold the globe in his hands in official renders and it is a loading screen, and the sun has been seen as a background in Kinito’s worlds, so is he genuinely that strong.
Nah.
Assumptions already have to be made that these are the images that Kinito makes are the actual earth and sun with the size and properties that come with them and not just a background visual and/or a skybox effect. But flaws with scaling Kinito to Planetary - Star levels of power arise when the question on how Kinito would even scale to this in the first place.
Sure Kinito created them, but we have no evidence to imply Kinito’s creation = Kinito’s AP or Durability. At best you could argue Kinito could shake the browser holding the worlds but it’s kind of hard to count as a real feat in the first place as the game that shook doesn’t hold any of the planets or stars and is more likely a usage of Kinito’s control over the computer.
TL;DR: Planet - Star Level KinitoPET isn’t viable.

Both of these AI’s have invaded the computer, and it should probably be destroyed for the sake of humanity. Place your bets! Who’ll win? Who’ll go home the winner? Who’ll suffer humiliation or death? Why is my screen glitching? Let’s see…

VERDICT
DIRECT COMBAT
First up, what would happen if Sonic and Kinito walked up and had a punching competition? Well unsurprisingly it’s not even close as Sonic easily takes this.
Kinito doesn’t really have any real strength feats. His best feat is pulling and shaking a weightless web browser. Even if you argue he shook the entire space inside, a similar argument could be made for Sonic. Sonic on the other hand has sent Miles flying on two separate occasions, should be capable of breaking breaks since they can become Mario, rip out Boyfriend’s heart, and most impressively can destroy a rock casually and violently enough to generate a force of 5 to 43 Megajoules.
Now an argument could be made for Kinito scaling to the player's avatar which could shake a house, which usually gets to similar values. However, there are flaws with this. Not only is this likely not a real feat and the house grew quickly rather than shake, but the small size of the house would yield less impressive results than a causal base form attack from Sonic.
Speed also isn’t giving Kinito a better chance, facing the Sonic adjacent character rarely ends well for the other character in speed anyways. Kinito is featless in actual travel and reaction speed feats, with his best speed feat being from his hands moving… yeah that’s it. Sonic on the other hand should be capable of running at the speed of sound. Even without this, them running as fast as they did on their morning run is way more impressive than anything Kinito has done.
It doesn’t help that Sonic is also quicker to action while Kinito can glitch and slow himself down under high stress and anger. Just play the FNF mod and see how fast Sonic can perform actions, way more than Kinito has ever shown to compete with.
It should be clear by now that Sonic holds a big advantage against Kinito in a traditional fight, but to put the nail in the coffin there is combat skill. Sonic has shown to perform advanced combat techniques like the spin dash and super peel out while Kinito hasn’t been in a fight without using his abilities. Sonic also has shown precision with their abilities such as catching Miles with raw skill alone.
It is evidently clear that if this came down to a fisticuffs, this would be a very easy call as Kinito hasn’t shown any skillset of traditional feats while Sonic has. Easy point for Sonic… shame this is a nearly worthless point…
Yeah despite all the explanations shown here, Kinito can easily bypass this issue thanks to his abilities. His Acausality and Immortality would mean he could negate any concerns of dying due to traditional damage. He also has several other abilities later shown that could make a hand to hand fight unlikely. Also Sonic is more than fine with using non physical tactics in combat so this scenario wouldn’t likely happen or go on too long.
So why was this a conversation? Mainly for 3 reasons.
1: This still is worth noting as the speed and skill gap is still useful and this also means that Sonic would be hard to kill by physical means alone.
2: It needs to be emphasized that physical stats don’t really matter here, which is a first for the blog series.
3: If this category didn’t exist, people would ask where the stat category is and would just look at the stat difference and decide the outcome just based on that.
REWRITE SONIC easily wins in DIRECT COMBAT, but it is overall IRRELEVANT for the most part.
CODE
A physical fight is unlikely to happen or last very long, but a battle between these AI’s coding abilities is far more likely. This is where things get infinitely more complicated than the former result.
When it comes to a game of quantity and versatility, Sonic takes this. Both share multiple abilities such as 4th wall awareness, shapeshifting, creation, complete control over the computer, teleportation, and hallucinations. This is nearly the limit of Kinito’s abilities though while Sonic has far more. They have way more methods of direct attack such as spin dashing, spin attacking, throwing bombs, electricity manipulation, body manipulation, and using the FNF arrows to cause pain.
However, while these abilities are useful, Kinito’s Acausality and Immortality make these abilities pointless in the grand scheme of things. As stated in the previous category, these abilities of Kinito’s means that any direct traditional attack wouldn’t do much to Kinito in the long run.
Kinito also has a huge advantage when it comes to resistances as he basically resists a majority of Sonic’s haxes! Physical attacks? Immortality and Acausality means it won’t be too effective. Mind Reading and Manipulation? No need to read or manipulate since Kinito is raw code. Transmutation? Shapeshifting would counter this and Kinito’s Admin Controls could likely reverse this like actual coders could do. Soul Manipulation? No soul to absorb.
In fairness, Sonic does resist some of Kinito’s abilities as Kinito’s own Soul Manipulation and Hallucinations won’t work. And Sonic’s Cloning and Omni-Perception would be tricky abilities for Kinito to go up against. But Kinito also has a useful ability with his hands as it gives him far more range than Sonic’s and has gone further lengths.
So far all that’s been mentioned is what both share and counter, so what’s the actual win conditions these two have?
Kinito’s Immortality and Acausality makes Sonic taking down Kinito very difficult. The only way Sonic could put down Kinito for good is if they find the source code for Kinito, but that’s easier said than done. Sonic may be capable of doing this thanks to their computer manipulation, but without any other outside factor, they have little to no way of knowing this while Kinito has a far easier win condition of simply deleting Sonic.
Despite their resistances, Sonic shockingly lacks a resistance to deletion which Kinito with his admin controls could likely pull off.
So despite Sonic’s statistical advantages in a direct fight and having superior versatility and quantity of abilities, they lacked a way to put down Kinito on their own merits due to Kinito’s hyper specific loss condition. Meanwhile, Kinito has a far easier win condition that could be pulled off.
Supposedly, Sonic’s chances of victory are now slim. KINITO takes CODE and WINS… right?
Well… Sonic might still be in the running for Code and Winning after all because of one thing…
“FRIENDSHIP”
…ok yes this sounds absurd at a first glance but this is an actual game changing point for Sonic.
Now when looking at both’s support initially, it seems to be not too much to note. Sonic’s support is technically more combat equipped, but both parties are inferior to Sonic and Kinito themselves in every way so what’s the game changer? The answer is the Player and Dr. Sonny.
This might seem weird since this is mentioned as Sonic’s way of getting back into the game but this actually is a huge point in Sonic’s favor.
When it comes to the player, they are fully capable of deleting Kinito if it comes down to it. Now initially it seemed to be a toss up on who’d convince the player to help them, Sonic is better at hiding their emotions but Kinito is generally the better manipulator. Luckily for Sonic, their Mind Control makes this a pretty obvious outcome as they could forcefully take control of the Player if need be.
Ok but that doesn’t guarantee that the Player would know how to kill Kinito right? Even ignoring that there is an ending where they do know how to and assuming that the Player wouldn't be here, Dr. Sonny would come in clutch for Sonic here.
Dr. Sonny knows the information on how to delete Kinito which Sonic could use against Kinito and they are fully capable of recreating it thanks to their computer manipulation. Now in fairness, this is Dr. Sonny’s code and not his soul so Sonic can’t just read his mind, but considering that Sonic is the game itself which would translate to the entire computer, if it exists in there then Sonic is aware of it, and thus would see all the hints and deduce how to kill Kinito quickly.
Shenangians may be called as it seems unfair at first to have support for a character that hurts their chances in the end, but not only is the Player a part of the scenario to begin with, but Dr. Sonny’s code is a part of Kinito and Sonic can do things the Player can by default already so this advantage for Sonic would exist regardless.
This also makes the CODE category a draw now as thanks to this category, Sonic does have the abilities necessary to learn how to defeat Kinito and pull it off.
While both of these two are people you shouldn’t be friends with, Sonic here has the superior power of “friendship.” REWRITE SONIC takes “FRIENDSHIP” and makes CODE a DRAW now!
CONTROL
With both having ways to win, it’s going to come down to who can pull off their wincons first.
A first thought that might come is that Kinito’s ability to block apps could allow him to trap Sonic and/or delete them without them being able to do anything. However, the fact that Sonic can put their game elements into the computer from the game to the computer and take over the entire computer as a whole means that this would be a non issue.
Kinito does have the advantage of having the simpler wincon since using a delete command is far simpler in practice than entering a code in a specific location. It’s not nearly as complicated in game since Sonic should be aware of everything thanks to knowing everything in the computer, but it would still be a longer process of traveling to a specific location in the computer and entering a specific code while fighting a guy who could delete you with a simple command.
Simpler ≠ Easier though.
Sonic has several ways of halting and distracting Kinito. Kinito is likely smarter and more creative which would give him a mental edge, but despite resisting Mind Control, his actions would still be registered to Sonic along with the command of deletion. This gives Sonic an edge since they’ll know what Kinito would do before he does it and gives Sonic an opportunity to pull off a win first.
Sonic’s cloning also is extremely useful here, it will definitely make things harder for Kinito as now he would have to delete more than one thing and would be the perfect stalling move as now Kinito has to deal with and delete every Sonic there.
Now Kinito could use his hands’ range to help himself here, but Sonic has a big advantage that was previously stated in the first category, speed. While strength is useless, speed actually could help Sonic here. Sonic’s huge speed advantage could allow him to keep the pressure on Kinito with cloning and quickly perform their wincon long before Kinito could do his.
For the final nail in the coffin, Sonic controlling the Players mind would complicate things as now Kinito has to both deal with the Player and Sonic. Heck, Kinito taking the Players soul wouldn’t work here since Sonic can put it back out like they could with Boyfriend.
“But couldn’t Kinito go to the real world and destroy the disc?” No. Kinito has never shown to interact with the real world to that degree and you’d have to give the same benefit of the doubt to Sonic. Given Sonic’s Omni-Perception, they’d know Kinito would do this and easily defeat them with superior stats and skills.
While Kinito has a simpler wincon, it is far from easy. Sonic just has to evade Kinito deleting them while Kinito has to deal with a huge speed gap, deleting any clones Sonic sends, keeping Sonic out of Decryption Lake, getting past Sonic’s Omni-Perception, and dealing with the Player possibly tag teaming. This is a whole lot more for Kinito to deal with while Sonic can stall Kinito rather easily with these abilities and then use the secret code fairly quickly.
This is also not mentioning the fact that Kinito can glitch out under high stress and anger which wouldn’t help at all.
On paper Kinito may have had the easier wincon, but Sonic’s control over the battlefield and fight is way too big that Kinito wouldn’t likely overcome it. REWRITE SONIC takes CONTROL!

Despite what the categories and advantages may imply, this was a complicated fight to figure out due to how abstract these two are in a vs sense. They aren’t traditional fighters so certain interpretations of them could lead to a different result. Despite this, ultimately it should be clear with everything laid out that Rewrite Sonic would win.
Kinito doesn’t lack wincons and you could make a decent argument for him winning a couple times if this were to happen over and over again, but Sonic has a far more likely chance of victory.
Kinito is capable of deleting Sonic, but there are several ways Sonic can avoid getting deleted and end up deleting Kinito’s source code first. Sonic’s clones would mean that Kinito would have to delete them all and are a perfect distraction. Sonic’s Omni-Perception would mean that despite his superior intelligence, all of Kinito’s plans and ideas would be something Sonic would have knowledge on and could create a countermeasure using their much superior speed. Finally, the player could support Sonic because of Sonic’s Mind Control which would force Kinito to have to deal with the Player to not get tag teamed. All of this would give Sonic the perfect opportunity to enter the code and delete Kinito.
Even if it came down to a simple quick draw, the simple speed and experience gap would mean that Sonic would likely pull off a win more times than not.
Now it’s fair to say that Sonic’s playful nature could give Kinito a chance at victory, and maybe in specific circumstances it would be the wincon for Kinito. But the same could hypothetically be said for Kinito as he can be slow to action, trying to convince the Player nothing is going on.
Safe to say that you’d have to AXOLOTL to REWRITE this into a KinitoPET win!

Heya, first off don’t worry, the DBZ Movie Villain BR isn’t canceled, it’s actually around 80-85% done so it should be out soon. I’m starting to notice that almost every time a future Blog is announced here, there’s another Blog that sandwiches inbetween…
So why did this happen? While I do enjoy the idea, this MU is a bit random for a surprise Blog right?
Well for context, the day this releases should be my good friend CypherDecaDriller’s birthday today and this is his favorite MU, so I wanted to make a Blog on this for him cause he’s a cool dude (also watch his trailer on this MU if you want).
